  • Nexus 4 does not support OTG  connection .

OTG connection and her full name is On-The-Go cable, is a USB connection .allows connecting your phone or your computer tablet with a mouse, or with an external keyboard, or even with flash memory or external hard disk. It is especially useful for tablet computers where you can by connecting mouse and keyboard (for example) to use the device as the way you use your computer.
Link itself is very simple, The first part is a microUSB port which is connected to a phone or computer, tablet, second part is a full USB port can receive a number of accessories that support USB.

Google updated the support page of  Nexus 4 phone , in which it says that we can connect mouse, keyboards, gaming controllers with the Nexus 4 phone, but this connection is only possible via Bluetooth, not via the USB.
As for why it did not support this feature even though it offers the best specifications, that is unknown.

The following video review is an example of the use of OTG with Nexus 7, which does not also support this feature by the way, but you can support it by applying a special app after getting  device root permissions , this may be possible with the Nexus 4.
